Purpose

This site contains information on railway travel by overnight trains with details about timetables, available services, available tickets for a selected travel date and official fares from the railway company which provides for the service. All data is retrieved directly from each railway company's booking server and should reflect real time information. So far a ticket sales function is not activated. The site is under construction. More services will be added. If you want to suggest any improvement or correction or if you would like to have more services added, please use the comment function.

Privacy Policy

The use of this website is free. No personal data will be collected and stored from the website visitor in a hidden form and without placing any order. No data will be collected by third party cookies. No statistics will be collected and send to third party analytics servers. No social media links are embedded in the code. If you watch the website in another language than English, Google Translator will be used and cookies will be set by google, but echoed form data like names or emails will not be shown or transmitted to Google.
Before sending an order form from euronox.eu, you will be prompted to give you consent about data collection. The main purpose for which Euronox collects your personal data in order forms is to provide the services of Euronox. Personal data is collected and processed for this purpose in compliance with legal requirements related to issuing tickets and providing services requested by the customer. For this purpose, the following personal data may be collected and processed: customers name, surname, gender, age, data from an identity document, citizenship, email address, phone number, city, receipts related to the payment of ordered services. The following data may be transmitted to third parties in order to provide the services requested by the customer i.e. issuance of tickets: names and surnames, gender, age, data from an identity document, payment receipts.
With regards to the privacy protection laws in EU, by transmitting your personal data to Euronox in case of ordering a service, be informed that we cannot guarantee for the privacy of the data which will be handed over to our commercial partners inside and outside EU (i.e the railway companies and the ticket issuing providers). We therefore limit the data transmission to those data which are strictly necessary to the delivery of the ordered service as stated above. If you do not agree about this, please do not order any service with us. Euronox may collect your form data for the sole purpose to facilitate communication with the customer and to build up internal statistics. In no case these data will be used to build up and/or memorize individual customer profiles or preferences. They may, however, be used for compiling anonymized statistics about the usage of services on euronox.eu. These anonymized statistics may also be shared with the commercial partners of euronox.eu. All data collected internally by Euronox will be canceled periodically if they are not needed any more for the above mentioned purposes. The customer may ask cancellation of the collected data as soon as the ordered service has been paid and provided i.e. in case of tickets - after the end of the trip. These cancellations will not affect the data transmitted to third parties i.e. service providers in relation to the delivered services (sold tickets). The privacy terms of this website are governed by Icelandic law. Disputes arising from these terms shall be brought before the Reykjavik District Court.

General Conditions

euronox.eu acts as a reseller of railway tickets and services on behalf of the associated railway companies and ticket sales services. Therefore the sales terms and conditions of the ticket issuing company apply. You will be informed about details during the sales process for each trip before proceeding with payment. Once you have bought a ticket, the legal relation is between you and the ticket issuer.

Cancel and Refund Policy

Online refund of railway tickets is provided within the following limits:

- Ticket refund request must be done before departure. The time of cancel may vary according to the ticket issuer's conditions and the type of ticket. Details will be provided during the sales process.
- Official penalty fees of the ticket issuer apply. Details will be provided during the sales process.
- euronox.eu will not refund bank fees or extra credit card provisions added by the customer's bank.
- Customer must claim the cancellation on euronox.eu (self service customer page link in the order email) or by email or contact form, with reference to the order number.
- We can only cancel a whole trip for all passengers of the order. No partial cancellations related to single passengers belonging to the same order can be done.
- Refund will be done to the credit card used by the customer during the booking. If payment has been done by bank online transfer, refund will be done to the same account of payment.
- For refund to a bank account the customer must communicate an account number (IBAN and SWIFT/BIC code), account holder's name, name of the bank, country of location of the bank's branch.
- Refund will be done within 10 working days but times may vary according to the processing times of the customer's bank.
- For refunds to credit cards the card issuer may charge additional fees. Please inquire with your card issuer.
- For refunds to bank accounts within the SEPA payment area no bank transfer fee will be charged. For all other bank accounts transfer fee will be detracted from the refund amount. - It is not possible to change the date, trip or passenger names of an already issued ticket. If you want to make changes, you must first cancel the order and then place a new order.
- You can always get your tickets refunded directly at major railway stations or ticket sales points of the ticket issuing company if allowed by the type of ticket, according to the railway's official cancellation policy and cancellation fees. No refund is possible after the departure of the train.

Customers are entitled for refund in the following cases:
1. Refund defined by the ticket issuer
2. There was a system error on our website (error message email and/or bank statement proofs): You get full refund from us.
3. According to the passenger rights defined by EU legislation, customer has a right for refund

Dispute resolution

If you cant resolve the problem directly with us, you can use the European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
The European Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform is provided by the European Commission to make online shopping safer and fairer through access to quality dispute resolution tools.
If you are in the EU, Norway, Iceland or Liechtenstein you can use it to find the best solution for your consumer problem, to discuss a solution directly with the concerning your problem or to agree on a dispute resolution body to handle your case.
The ODR platform is not connected to any trader. You can use the ODR platform in all EU languages, Icelandic and Norwegian.
You can use the ODR platform to solve your problem directly with the trader. This can be helpful if you have not yet contacted the trader or if the trader is open to dialogue.
The ODR platform will notify the trader of your request. If the trader is willing to talk, you will be able to exchange messages directly through your dashboard, send attachments such as product photos and schedule an online meeting.
You will have a maximum of 90 days to reach an agreement. You and the trader may withdraw from direct talks at any time.
The trader may also propose a list of dispute resolution bodies to use instead of finding a solution directly. In this case, you will have 30 days to agree on a dispute resolution body or your case will be closed on the platform.
EU consumer protection rules ensure that when you buy goods and services in the EU you have clear information on the product or service you are buying, its price, shipping and delivery costs as well as on your rights when things go wrong.
